| ECO-D is a safe, effective, and economical water-based cleaner engineered to remove greases, oils, fluids and carbon from vehicle and machine/equipment parts. This fast and friendly solution is designed as a direct replacement for hazardous petroleum solvents.
ECO-D is recommended for use in soak tanks, parts washers washers, ultra sonics, modified vapor degreasers, pressure washer and through-put machines. Though a small amount of emulsification does take place, Eco-D spearates the majority of grease/oil and allows it to float on the surface of the solution for easy skimming/recovery.
ECO-D takes advanage of the unique properties of the ingredients being utilized, even the water, through a process called peptizing. Peptizing is the stabilization of hydrophobic colloidal solutions by addition of electrolytes which provide the necessary electric double layer of ionic charges around each particle. The ions of the electrolyte are strongly absorbed on the particle surface. Stable solutions of non-ionizing substances acquire a charge in contact with water by preferential absorption of the hydroxyl.
DIRECTIONS:
As a soak/modified vapor/parts washer: May be used straight or diluted as necessary. Simply soak or expose the parts in ECO-D for 1 min. to 24 hours to remove even the nastiest build-up of grease/oil/carbon. Agitation and heat do increase effectiveness, but is not necessary. Orison recommends agitation with a working temperature of 80 to 200F., depending on application.
Pressure washer solution: set dilution to 20:1 - 100:1 as application requires. Can be utilized with heated units.
