AR 500 is a unique blend that reduces friction and controls corrosion on ALL metal surfaces. It eliminates moisture containing salt, dirt and air pollutants from the surface of the metal to give long-lasting protection. This proven corrosion inhibitor was developed specifically for the Navy and Air Force MIL-C-81309-E, Amendment 3. AR 500 is also approved by the AGSE Materials Branch for use on Army Aircraft. AR 500 can be utilized on aviation parts and surfaces to inhibit/stop all types of corrosion, including aluminum oxide, rust, dissimilar metal, etc. AR 500 penetrates, lubricates moving parts, removes moisture, and creates a thin protective barrier.

Spray Into: vertical and horizontal stabilizers, fuselage, wing section, locks, hinges, closure mechanisms, teleflex cables, air vent cables, trim cables, throttle cables, battery boxes, engine compartments, avionics, antenna mount.
Rotor Wing Aircraft
Spray Into: engine compartments, air vent cables, hinges, locks, tail boom section, closure mechanisms, grip areas, landing gear, strap-pack, rotorhead, avionics, cannon plugs.
Cargo Aircraft
Spray Into: micro switches, avionics, hinges, locks, landing gear compartments, wing sections, closure mechanisms, garbage chutes, galleys, lavatory areas, main spar sections, belly skin sections, vertical and horizontal stabilizers, cannon plugs, cargo door brackets.
Float Equipped Amphibious
Spray Into: fuselage, floats, wing sections, all stabilizers, bilge area, hinges, locks, exterior motors, cannon plugs, avionics, connectors, closure mechanisms, micro switches, antenna mounts.
Turbo Props/Business Jet
